Environmental Centre

CTFS is widely regarded as an industry leader in providing smart solutions & promoting environmental sustainability within the South African Film Industry. In addition to the promotion of on-site operational sustainability, the Environmental Centre serves as an educational centre in the training and upskilling of local communities towards becoming more self-sufficient in the fields of integrated waste management, organic gardening and Bokashi and Vermi composting.

In further establishing itself as a market leader, the Studios Environmental Management System is currently undergoing ISO14001 certification – the international standard for setting environmental quality assurance standards and regulations so as to enable companies to minimise their ecological impact.
